Women, Let’s Step Up as Allies for Other Women
Much of today’s commentary on allyship focuses on the need for male allies in the workplace. But what about the need for women to be allies for one another? In IWL’s 2022 State of Allyship-in-Action study, 73% of women surveyed agreed “there are women leaders in their organization that could be stronger allies for other women.”
Traditionally women have been taught to be competitive with one another because there was such a scarcity of jobs at the top. But it’s clear that strategy isn’t working. Don’t miss this powerful session with Dr. Hope Zoeller in exploring a different approach – in raising each other up and channeling the power of collaboration to change the equation.
